In order to provide business partners (employers/supervisors) quick access to information relating to the Work-Based Learning program, I have provided several images, links, documents, etc. as a guide.  Of course, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  I look forward to partnering with you this year!

Required Documentation Form

You will receive a Required Documentation form to read and review.  It is the responsibility of the student/employee to deliver the Required Documentation form and to return it (completed and signed) to the WBL Coordinator.  Please complete the appropriate sections and sign on the designated areas of the form.  I an providing images of the sections (below) you will be required to read, complete and sign.
Employers/Supervisors will need to read and complete the Job Verification Section on the Required Documentation. An image of the Job Verification section is located below.

Checkoff List
When you first hire a Work-Based Learning student...here are a few pieces of information you may wish to cover...

1.  Give a company overview/history of the company/tour of the company
2.  Introduce the student to different personnel
3.  Identify important areas:  fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire exits, restrooms, break rooms, etc.
4.  Review emergency procedures
5.  Identify areas that are unauthorized
6.  Parking lot and where employees park
7.  Clocking in/out, name badges, etc.
8.  Bulletin boards, posting of information for employees, work schedules, etc.
9.  Company policies:  dress code, breaks, etc.
10. Company policies:  confidentiality, attendance, safety gear, etc.
11. Work etiquette:  cell phones, greeting customers, etc.
12. Socializing:  with coworkers, with customers/clients, etc.
13. Location of employee manuals
14. Employee expectation: work schedule, attitude, work ethics, etc.
15. School Activities:  notification and requests for taking off
